BRENDA & MICHAEL

Brenda and Michael are just two that have made total life changes. Being homeless since they were both young teens and associating with the wrong people eventually led them into criminal activities.

Brenda was two months pregnant when she was booked into the jail. She cried out for help from God and God answered her by sending Sonny up to see her. Through many visits Sonny was able to share the gospel with her and she invited Jesus into her heart. Brenda was really scared those months in jail. She really wanted to keep her baby but she knew that she couldn’t keep her baby after the delivery because she was in jail. Sonny and Brenda started praying that God would allow something good to come of this entire situation.

We have an awesome God. Three days before Brenda was due to have her baby she was released. Sonny got on the phone and did a lot of calling. With the help of many people Brenda was picked up and delivered to her new apartment. When Brenda walked into her furnished apartment there were bags of clothing, diapers, and baby furniture. The next day Brenda gave birth to Faith a beautiful little girl.

Michael was so shocked that people would do this, out of love, for complete strangers, that he asked Jesus into his heart the night Faith was born. Brenda named her little girl Faith because she said faith in God changed her and Michael’s lives forever and they wanted to never forget.

The three of them are doing really well. Michael
is now a full time pastor and Brenda is expecting their second child. They have led many people to the Lord
and are very active in changing the lives of homeless
people by showing them the Love of Jesus. They both wanted their story told so people could know how much
the love they received through Christ and his servants
has changed their lives.

Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
